USGBC Green Power Requirements
Under the USGBC Energy & Atmosphere Green Power Credit, LEED buildings may earn up to six points by matching a portion of the building’s electricity use with Green-e Energy Certified® RECs for at least two years. RECs are an easy and low-cost option to fulfill LEED requirements for green power. Purchasers do not have to change utility arrangements or install any new hardware.
