Crystal Austin is the Senior Manager of Utility Programs and Services at Black Hills Energy. She leads a team responsible for a variety of products, programs and services available to utility customers in the Black Hills Energy service territory. Among those offerings are sustainability solutions like Green Forward, a voluntary program that allows customers to address the carbon footprint from their natural gas use. Crystal has 16 years of experience in the energy industry. Prior to her current role, she has held leadership roles in corporate planning, ESG and sustainability, strategic initiatives, continuous improvement and she began her career at Black Hills Energy supporting day to day natural gas operations. Crystal’s formal education is in business analytics and prior to joining the energy industry she worked in management consulting for nearly 10 years.
