How do you make money through the CFP?

A CFP credit equals one metric ton of greenhouse gas emissions reduction below the state-wide CI target, and the monetary value of the credits varies based on supply and demand of the credit market. Credit demand comes from entities that are deficit generators, primarily those supplying legacy fossil fuels including gasoline and diesel. Because the deficit holders are large entities, they prefer to transact in large volumes of credits. 3Degrees has direct relationships with these deficit generators so we can ensure our credit generating clients are able to quickly monetize credits and maximize revenue. We assume all credit aggregation and monetization activities (e.g., marketing, sale, contracting, settlement, etc.) and remit proceeds directly to our credit generator partners.
