How do you make money through the LCFS?

LCFS credits are earned per metric ton of emissions reduction below the state-wide CI target, and the monetary value of the credits varies based on supply and demand of the credit market. Credit demand comes from entities that are deficit generators, primarily those supplying legacy fossil fuels including gasoline and diesel. 3Degrees has direct relationships with these deficit generators and ensures its clients are able to quickly monetize credits and maximize revenue. We assume all credit aggregation and monetization activities (e.g., marketing, sale, contracting, settlement, etc.) and remit proceeds directly to our partners.
