3Degrees, a leading global provider of renewable energy and decarbonization solutions, today welcomed John Eustermann as its new general counsel. Eustermann will bring extensive renewable energy and biogas expertise to bear in assisting 3Degrees to achieve global growth and expansion into new markets.

Eustermann comes to 3Degrees with nearly three decades of legal experience, with the last 18 years in renewable energy. He holds Bachelor and Master of Business Administration degrees from Notre Dame University, as well as a Juris Doctor degree from the Seattle University School of Law.
Eustermann previously served as a partner at the law firm Stoel Rives before taking on in-house roles with several growing companies. Most recently Eustermann served as general counsel for renewable energy project developer BioStar Renewables.

Eustermann has extensive experience building, growing, and managing high-performing legal teams, negotiating large complex deals, and supporting international growth. In his new role at 3Degrees, Eustermann will oversee the management of 3Degrees’ legal affairs and lead the company’s strong legal team in advancing processes to deliver exceptional client and partner services and support the company’s growth.
