Carbon
3Degrees has been an active developer of carbon credit projects since 2007 and has played an instrumental role in bringing new carbon projects to fruition. Our in-house project operations team manages the monitoring, reporting, and verification for many of the credits in our portfolio. Our team is on site at projects frequently and has led the completion of hundreds of individual project verifications and issuances. This hands-on approach puts us in a unique position to proactively manage project performance in partnership with project owners.

Renewable Natural Gas (RNG)/Biomethane
Renewable natural gas (or biomethane in Europe) plays an important role in 3Degrees’ environmental commodity portfolio. We offer access to a vast network of corporate and utility buyers, with a clear and actionable understanding of the standards and carbon intensity calculations needed to demonstrate environmental integrity and maximize value.

Clean Fuels Pathway Services
3Degrees also specializes in determining carbon intensity (“CI”) scores and developing pathways that enable clean fuels producers to access incentives under clean fuels standard programs (e.g. California LCFS) and tax credit schemes (e.g. the US federal 45V tax credit). 3Degrees manages the registration, reporting, and verification of several Tier 1 and Tier 2 clean fuel pathways across multiple CFS markets, including for biogas-to-electricity, RNG, and hydrogen.
