Walt Blomquist

Walt Blomquist serves as Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO) at 3Degrees, responsible for the company’s product vision, technology strategy, and customer-facing products. Leveraging his deep market knowledge and ability to execute, he is guiding the company’s technological evolution. 

Walt brings over 25 years of experience leading and innovating across diverse technologies and markets, and has a proven track record of driving results and creating value for both established Fortune 500 companies and high-growth startups. His background in engineering, product management, and corporate and product marketing, enables him to excel at translating complex technical solutions into compelling market offerings. Walt’s ability to transform complex technologies into market-leading solutions is a hallmark of his career.

Prior to 3Degrees, Walt co-founded and/or served as CEO for early-stage startups where he spearheaded the development of groundbreaking technologies focused on big-data analytics, decentralized computing, and blockchain. His leadership was instrumental in obtaining patents, defining product and marketing strategies, and cultivating dynamic partner ecosystems. Walt has also held leadership roles at Cisco and NetApp, where he oversaw multi-billion dollar product portfolios, led product development, marketing and engineering teams, and successfully launched several products to market.

Walt resides in the Bay Area and, outside of the office, he enjoys fly-fishing, backpacking, and competitive squash.
